Tango Konzert mit Vortrag

Zum ersten Mal in Berlin: Der argentinische Geiger Guillermo Rubino, Gewinner des 25. Latin GRAMMY Award und Dozent am Orquesta Escuela de Tango Emilio Balcarce, gastiert im Nou Tango Berlin.

Konzert
In einem besonderen Konzert leitet Rubino ein Ensemble professioneller Musiker:innen, die zuvor an seinem dreitägigen Meisterkurs teilgenommen haben. Die Musiker:innen kommen aus verschiedenen Ländern Europas und sind teilweise bereits Mitglieder verschiedener bekannter Tango Ensembles und bringen ihre eigene künstlerische Prägung in dieses einmalige Projekt ein. Gemeinsam entfalten sie die ganze Bandbreite argentinischer Musik – von traditionellem Tango über Piazzolla bis hin zu Folklore und zeitgenössischen Kompositionen. Ein Abend voller Rhythmus, Emotion und Virtuosität, bei dem klassische und moderne Elemente auf den Streichinstrumenten neu erstrahlen.

Vortrag
Als Vorbereitung oder Vertiefung hält Guillermo Rubino zudem einen Vortrag über die Geschichte und Entwicklung der Tango-Musik. Ein einzigartiger Einblick in Tradition, Stil und die kulturelle Bedeutung dieser lebendigen Musikform.

For the first time in Berlin: Argentine violinist Guillermo Rubino, winner of the 25th Latin GRAMMY Award and teacher at the renowned Orquesta Escuela de Tango Emilio Balcarce, joins Nou Tango Berlin.

Concert
In this special concert, Rubino will lead an ensemble of professional musicians who have just completed his three-day masterclass. Coming from different parts of Europe (some of whom are already members of well-known tango ensembles) these artists contribute their diverse backgrounds to create a unique sound. Together, they will present the richness of Argentine music – from traditional tango and Piazzolla to folklore and contemporary works. An evening of rhythm, emotion, and virtuosity, where classical and modern elements come alive through the strings.

Lecture
As a preparation or deeper insight, Guillermo Rubino will also give a lecture on the history and development of tango music. A rare opportunity to discover the tradition, style, and cultural significance of this vibrant art form.
